Blanket 

Here are the instructions and patterns for creating a 4-H blanket.   The pattern was originally for horse saddle blanket cover, but can be used for anything with slight modifications.     Hot glue gun is the easiest and sticks the best.

Patterns:

Clover:  print this jpg as a full page print.  clover needs to fill an 8 1/2" by 11" page.

4 H's: print this word document or use the pattern here

 

Purchase

1) Red Felt of required size

2) two (2) 12"x9" squares of Emerald Green felt

3) one (1) 12"x9" square of white felt

 

Cutting

1) Cut Red felt to desired size.  Horse blanket covers are 37" by 43"

2) Cut two (2) clovers from Emerald Green Felt using pattern above

3) Cut eight (8) H's from White felt using pattern above

 

 Assembly

1) Glue 4 white H's to each leaf of the first clover, as seen on the 4H insignia

2) Glue 4 white H's to each leaf of the second clover, as seen on the 4H insignia

3) Fold Red felt lengthwise, lay it on a flat surface so the fold is at the top

4) Glue green clover to right hand bottom corner as shown here
